Taffeta Peplum Top

A note from the designer

The peplum is a hard format to get right — too much volume reads costume, too little reads pulled-down hem. The cut here is shorter than traditional peplum, which keeps the silhouette from breaking the waist line. Crystal buttons are restraint; one or two more and the top crosses into decoration.
